Who Will be Charlie Sheen’s Replacement?
Despite his long run of success on the hit show Two And A Half Men Warner Bros have finally sacked Charlie Sheen following his ongoing war with creator Chuck Lorre and his “increasingly erratic outbursts”.
Though his dismissal was inevitable, the actor who received Dhs11milion per episode was somewhat shocked and is preparing to sue Chuck and Warner Bros, stating, “This is good news. They continue to be in breach, like whales. It is a big day of gladness because now I can take all of the bazillions.”
On initially discovering he wasn’t immortal and had been ditched from the sitcom, Charlie took to the rooftops wielding a machete and chugging a bottle of ‘tiger blood’. The actor later started filming, and posting online, a series of homemade videos of himself ranting about trolls and his injustice.
With the 45-year-old star seemingly spiralling out of control, producers are on the hunt for replacements to take over his role of Charlie Harper, a 30-something bachelor with money and an insatiable desire for women. Yet, with sources leaking their possible stand-ins – all of which have courted their own fair share of controversy – it seems the big wigs haven’t learned their lesson. Ahlan! Looks at the possible replacements plus we add our own sneaky prediction.
Russell BrandAge: 35Controversy: Russ has all the hedonistic experience that Charlie is infamous for, yet is now clean. The tee-total funnyman was once addicted to women, drugs and alcohol. And judging by his hilarious role as Aldos Snow in Get Him To The Greek he’s a winner in comedies.
John StamosAge: 47Controversy: Despite Charlie insisting “people will revolt” should John replace him, he is top choice. Yet, this star was once rumoured to be entering rehab after appearing on Australian TV slurring his words and looking unkept.
Matt DillonAge: 47Controversy: While he may not have been to rehab like his contenders, ladies man Matt isn’t totally clean either. In 2008 he was arrested after being caught speeding in Vermont. He faced one year in jail, but he pleaded guilty and got fined Dhs3,039.
Rob LoweAge: 46Controversy: The Brat Pack star found fame early and subsequently struggled with the attention. He suffered with alcohol and sex addiction, entering rehab for both. A popular sex tape starring Rob has also been leaked.
