When Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides swashbuckles its way into theaters this weekend, the fourth installment of the blockbuster franchise will feature some new smoldering faces like Penelope Cruz, a gaggle of gorgeous mermaids, and Sam Claflin, who plays the hunkiest missionary to ever grace the screen.
Parade.com sat down with Geoffrey Rush, who has played pirate Hector Barbossa in all four films, to discuss his experience on the high seas over the years and his reaction to being added to a Disneyland ride.
“I didn’t see that one coming,” he laughs.
While he doesn’t have grand plans for his upcoming sixtieth birthday, he has some thoughts about what might be in the fifth Pirates film. What’s Full article…

Amy Winehouse
Although she released only two albums (Frank in 2003 and Back to Black in 2007) Amy Winehouse’s career was as dazzling as it was brief. Widely credited with opening the door for a whole new generation of female singer-songwriters, ranging from Adele to Florence Welch, Amy’s big, dark voice and fusion of jazz, blues and soul won her legions of fans and a raft of major awards. The past three decades in American history have provided generous fodder for comedian and author Will Durst’s sharp political satire. Durst, 59, once called the Bush administration “the Full Employment Act for Political Comedy.” But the current administration and the nascent 2012 presidential campaign make for great comedic material, too, he says.

The 90s are All That!
If you had any shred of childhood/teenage years in the 1990s and had cable, you’ll remember 90s Nickelodeon. Everyone has their favorite show, be that! or. I’ve heard (and participated) in more than one debate about Stoop Kid or why Doug’s were a strange shade of aqua.
But NOW,

Shannen Doherty will star in a WEtv reality show about her upcoming marriage to celebrity photographer Kurt Iswarienko, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The former “Beverly Hills 90210” bad girl, who had a short-lived reality show in 2006 called “Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty,” is well known for her two short-lived marriages: one to Ashley Hamilton, son of George Hamilton, and one to Rick Salomon, who shortly after their breakup produced and starred in a little independent film commonly known as the Paris Hilton sex tape.
Doherty’s show will premiere in January, with the wedding — crossing our fingers — as the finale.
